The Winter Youth Sports Program is coming up! Whether your child is trying a sport for the first time or returning for another season, our programs offer a positive encouraging environment where kids can stay active and learn new skills.
Program Details
Adult-Tot Soccer: Young children develop motor skills while having fun running and kicking. Parents and tots work together in this class, learning the basics of soccer. Dribbling, passing, shooting and kicking will all be emphasized. A variety of activities will be played each week.
PeeWee Soccer: Let your child’s early soccer experience be a great one. The younger player develops their soccer skills and also gains confidence, coordination, motor skills and communication. The program uses age-appropriate drills and exercises to teach players kicking, ball control, dribbling, shooting and more.
Adult- Tot Basketball: Young children develop motor skills while having fun running and ball Handling. Parents and tots work together in this class, learning the basics of basketball. Dribbling, passing, shooting and teamwork will all be emphasized. A variety of activities will be played each week.
Lil Dribblers: Join us for an introduction to the game of basketball in a safe, fun and exciting environment! Using age-appropriate activities and games, along with a lower basket, campers are introduced to the basics of basketball. Development of early skills such as proper ball handling, passing and shooting is combined with the basic knowledge of the rules of the game and principles of teamwork and sportsmanship.
Know Before You Fly Class
Join the Chain-O-Lakes Eagles RC Club for an exciting pop-up STEM class! Get ready to build, fly, and explore the amazing world of drones! This hands-on class is perfect for young inventors and future pilots who want to learn how drones work- and have a blast while doing it. Parents or adult partners are encouraged to stay for the class. You'll get to build and fly your own drone in class-how cool is that? Just remember, the drones stay with us so future students can enjoy the same experience.
The next class is February 22nd, 2026, at Lakefront Park (10 Riverview Avenue, Fox Lake, IL) from 1 PM - 4 PM at just $20 per person! This Class is for ages 8 to 12-year-olds.

Young Engineers: Bricks Challenge
Bricks Challenge makes complex scientific principles tangible and fun for ages 6-12! The program develops a robust foundation in mechanics and engineering, fostering invaluable skills for the 21st century.
Classes will be held on the 3rd Thursday of each month in the Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of Lakefront Park. There is an elevator for any guest that may need access. Each session presents a different project and set of skills. Projects remain with the teacher so future students can enjoy the same experience.
