[ARCHIVED] Stay-at-Home Order Extended to May 30

CANCELLATIONS EXTENDED MAY 30

On April 23, 2020 Governor Pritzker announced he would be signing an Executive Order to extend the Stay-at-Home Order until May 30, 2020.

Therefore, the previous municipal building closure and program cancellation has been extended until May 30, or until it is deemed safe for the public as well as our employees to reopen. As COVID-19 is an extremely fluid situation, we appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

  • All municipal buildings remain closed to the public as well as non-essential third-party vendors. Staff remains operational during normal office hours and are working to address concerns. You can reach Village Hall at (847) 587-2151. All emergency services remain operational.
  • All Parks and Recreation programs, special events, and facility rentals are cancelled through May 30, 2020 at this time and includes the Village’s PACE bus. The events cancelled for May include the May Go Fox Lake Walk, Mom and Me Craft Day, Police Bike Rodeo, and May Senior Lunch. This is in addition to our weekly scheduled programs.
  • Non-essential residential, water, and business inspections are canceled until further notice. This will be for inspections that take place within homes and establishments.
  • All Village Board meetings are continuing, however, are via phone and Zoom. Access to these meetings is available to the public with the call-in information posted on the agendas for each meeting 48 hours in advance of the meetings. You can view Village agendas here.
  • Many payment options are available online at: https://www.foxlake.org/267/Pay-Online. You can also make certain types of payments to PSN by calling over the phone at (877) 885-7968. Additionally, individuals may drop payments in the secure payment boxes at Village Hall.
  • Beginning on May 1, individuals will be required to wear a face-covering or a mask when in a public place where they can’t maintain a six-foot social distance. Face-coverings will be required in public indoor spaces, such as stores. This new requirement applies to all individuals over the age of two who are able to medically tolerate a face-covering or a mask. For those who do not have a face mask, any home face covering such as a scarf or t-shirt can work. For guidance on when to use masks, please visit the Illinois Department of Health Department here.
