Garage Sale Permits
To host a garage sale in the Village of Fox Lake, residents will need to secure a permit before the sale. Each garage sale permit costs $5.00, and are available for purchase at the Village Hall located at 66 Thillen Dr. Fox Lake, IL.
Guidelines
- Garage sales can be held for a period of three consecutive days.
- A maximum of two garage sales may be held at the same premises by the same household within any 12-month period.
- A household may only conduct one sale within a period of seven days.
- No individual is permitted to hold a garage sale on property that is not owned or leased by them.
- Sales may be conducted during daylight hours, from 9:00 AM until sunset.
